Toward the back of the property sits the show barn and indoor arena, where the horses enjoy views of the pond from their 12×12 stalls. All horses receive the 24/7 care and attention they deserve, ensuring they are ready for horse showing and effective horse training.

With a wag that could win over the grumpiest gelding and a talent for making every visitor feel like they belong, Chucky takes hi

Every great farm has a signature presence, and at Hickerson Show Horses that honor goes to Chucky. He is the first to greet guests, the last to clock out, and the absolute heart of our daily rhythm. With a wag that could win over the grumpiest gelding and a talent for making every visitor feel like they belong, Chucky takes his role very seriously.
His specialties include welcoming clients, supervising treat distribution, monitoring barn morale, and offering strategic cuddles when needed. You can usually find him making his rounds around the property, collecting compliments and ensuring that no one, horse or human, feels left out.
Chucky is more than our resident canine. He is our ambassador, our mood lifter, and the official keeper of good vibes. Around here he is not just part of the team, he runs the place.
